Clare Towse

Dr. Towse joined the University of Bradford in Sept 2016 as a Lecturer in Biophysical Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry and Biosciences. Her background has spanned formulation and analytical chemistry in the pharmaceutical and FMCG industries, NMR method development, protein and peptide synthesis, and computational biophysics. Her main focus of research is post-translational modifications that trigger deleterious conformations in peptides and proteins and the use of novel and non-natural amino acids in peptide drug design.
